Man Who Shot At Officers In Area Charged With Attempted Murder, Police Say A 26-year-old man accused of firing gunshots at police officers in the area has been charged with attempted murder. Shortly after 1 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 15, two officers from the Red Hook Police Department responded to the area of Princeton Street and Columbia Avenue for a property dispute.  During the investigation, while the Red Hook officers were speaking with Keith M. Potik, 26, of Wappinger, he produced a handgun and fired multiple shots at the officers, according to state police. Red Hook Police returned fire in response to the suspect’s actions.
