State Police Identify Man Killed In Single-Vehicle Hudson Valley Crash New York State Police have identified a man who was killed in a single-vehicle crash in the area. It happened around 9:35 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 7, on a busy stretch of the Taconic State Parkway in Putnam County. ID Released For Man Pulled From Lake Mahopac After Kayak Overturns The man whose body was pulled from the water after police say his kayak overturned in Lake Mahopac has been identified. On Monday, July 22 at 1:40 p.m., the Town of Carmel Police received a report of a missing 55-year-old Mahopac resident, know ID'd as Richard Dudyshyn, Carmel Police Chief Michael Cazzari said. A search of the area around Dudyshyn's South Lake Boulevard home found his kayak overturned in Lake Mahopac, according to Cazzari.  The Carmel Police Department Marine unit began a search of the lake near the kayak and the Mahopac Falls Volunteer Fire Department Dive Team …
