Kevin Bacon Gives Thumbs Up To Hudson Valley High School's Footloose Cast Actor Kevin Bacon gave a thumbs up and encouragement to students at a Hudson Valley high school who are putting on a performance of "Footloose." Bacon, who starred in the original 1984 movie, gave the shout-out on Instagram to the Putnam County performing arts students at Brewster High School after hearing they were putting on the musical drama that helped launch him to stardom. Services Set For Nicole Minson Of Paramus, 17 Nicole Minson of Paramus died on Friday, Feb. 16 after an aggressive battle with cancer. She was 17 years old. Visitation will be Thursday, Feb. 22 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home. Funeral Mass will be Friday, Feb. 23 at 11 a.m., at Our Lady of the Visitation R.C. Church. Nicole, Affectionately known as Mini Nikki, was a senior at Paramus Catholic High School.
