Hudson Valley Man Killed In Double-Fatal Crash ID'd As First Responder One of the victims of a wrong-way head-on double fatal crash on the Palisades Parkway was a Northern Westchester County emergency medical technician.  Aristan Garandeau, age 22, of Croton-on-Hudson, died around 2:40 a.m., Sunday, Feb. 6 in Clarkstown, said the New York State Police. Garandeau was traveling in the wrong direction on the parkway when he hit another car head-on driven by Brendan Seabrook, 27, of Pennsylvania, who was also killed, said state police. Bear Mountain Bridge Road Crash With Fuel Spill Brings Hazmat Response A dump truck collided with a driver over the weekend, causing a diesel fuel spill in the area that required a hazmat response and temporary road closure. Members of the Peekskill Volunteer Ambulance Corps., paramedics from Cortlandt and Peekskill and the Continental Village Volunteer Fire Department received a report on Sunday, Sept. 29, where there was a report of a crash that left a truck left disabled off the side of Bear Mountain Bridge Road in Cortlandt.
