Alert Issued For Slow-Moving Convoys Traveling To Area Slow-moving, oversized convoys are heading to the Hudson Valley. The New York State Department of Transportation announced on Monday that overnight transport of oversize loads from the Capital Region to the Hudson Valley is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, May 15. The transport of the oversized loads is scheduled to begin in the Port of Rensselaer in Rensselaer and will proceed along a designated route to Dover in Dutchess County.
