Valley Cottage Man, 23, Caught With Heroin After Traffic Stop, Police Say A 23-year-old Valley Cottage man was busted with a hypodermic needle and heroin during a routine traffic stop in Pearl River, according to police in Orangetown. An Orangetown Police officer on patrol at approximately 9:50 p.m. on Tuesday, March 27 on East Lewis Avenue stopped Nikola Marinkovich in his 2010 Honda when he committed a vehicle and traffic law violation in Pearl River. During the subsequent stop, it was determined that Marinkovich was in possession of a hypodermic syringe and a small amount of alleged heroin.
