32-Year-Old Accused Of Assaulting Trooper After I-84 Crash In Wallkill A Hudson Valley man is behind bars after he allegedly attacked a New York State trooper and fought with others following his arrest for DWI. The incident took place in Orange County around 11 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 8, at 11 p.m. at the Wallkill Rest Area off I-84 in Wallkill.  Upon arrival, troopers found a 2013 Honda Civic parked in a handicapped parking spot with a flat tire. State Trooper Injured In Hit-Run Westchester Crash Police are investigating after a New York State trooper was injured in a hit-and-run crash overnight. It happened around 8:45 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 8 near the border of Westchester and Fairfield counties in the village of Port Chester. State Police Vehicle Involved In Hudson Valley Crash A New York State Trooper received minor injuries after being rear-ended by another vehicle while in traffic in Westchester. The crash took place around 6 p.m., Tuesday, July 27, on I-287 westbound in White Plains when the trooper was sitting in traffic and was rear-ended by another vehicle, said Trooper Tara McCormick.
