Newburgh Man Charged With DWI After Route 32 Stop A Hudson Valley motorist was among five busted throughout the state for driving while intoxicated overnight. Since the new year began, New York State Police and local law enforcement agencies have been “out in full force” to curtail impaired drivers in the region as part of a statewide crackdown. Among those arrested was Newburgh resident Anthony Burnett, 37, who was stopped on Route 32 in Newburgh on Thursday morning for a vehicle and traffic law violation.
