Police In Hudson Valley Asking For Help Solving Shooting Murder Case Following Crash Police in the Hudson Valley are asking the public for help to solve a murder case in which the victim was found wounded following a car crash. The incident took place in the City of Poughkeepsie on Thursday, Dec. 12, 2019. According to Det. Lt. Police Find Person Fatally Shot After 911 Call Reporting Crash In Area A 911 call for a possible rollover crash ended with police finding a person with a fatal gunshot wound in the area. The call came into police around 2:20 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 12, for a possible crash in Poughkeepsie at 70 Livingston St., said City of Poughkeepsie Police Sgt. George Camacho. When officers arrived on the scene they discovered that the driver had an apparent gunshot wound, Camacho said.
