The incident occurred in Dutchess County around 10 p.m., Sunday, May 12, at Main and Church Streets in the City of Poughkeepsie. According to Poughkeepsie PD Det. Sgt. Akroush, age 21, of Yonkers, was killed around 4:30 a.m., Sunday, March 13 on the Sprain Brook Parkway in Greenburgh. New York State Police responded to a 911 call regarding a car in the Grassy Sprain Reservoir, said Trooper AJ Hicks.
