Man Sentenced For Fatal Shooting Of 18-Year-Old In Area
A 25-year-old man will spend decades behind bars after pleading guilty to shooting an 18-year-old in the head on a busy Poughkeepsie street and walking away. City of Poughkeepsie resident Rajeam Jackson, of Poughkeepsie, was sentenced this week to 27 years in prison and five years of post-release supervision after pleading guilty last month to first-degree manslaughter and second-degree criminal possession of a loaded gun.
