One Of Two Victims In Poughkeepsie Shooting Dies From Injuries One of two people shot in Poughkeepsie last week has died from his injuries. James Shaheed, 28, of Poughkeepsie, was removed from life support on Friday, Feb. 8, said City of Poughkeepsie Det. Lt. Matt Clark. An autopsy conducted on Saturday showed he died from a gunshot to the head. A 15-year-old teen has been charged with attempted murder in the shooting of Shaheed and another 41-year-old man who was an innocent bystander.
