Suspect Nabbed After Town Of Poughkeepsie TD Bank Robbery
A Poughkeepsie man was nabbed within hours of robbing a local TD Bank branch, police said.
Jake R. Oliva, 27, was charged with felony robbery, around 4:50 p.m. Thursday after officers spotted the car used in the heist on South Road.
Oliva was arrested without incident, said Town of Poughkeepsie Police Capt. Kevin Faber.
The robbery took place around 9:30 a.m. Thursday, after he walked into the TD Bank, on South Road in the Town of Poughkeepsie, and demanded money, Faber said.
"He indicated he had a gun but did not display one," Faber said.
