Teen Arrested After Riding Dirt Bike, Taking Police On Chase In Area A Rockland County teenager was arrested after taking officers on a short chase when he was busted for driving a dirt bike without a helmet on. Officers from the Ramapo Police Department on patrol on Route 202 on Wednesday, Dec. 16 spotted an unregistered dirt bike being driven by a minor who was not wearing a helmet. When the officer attempted to stop the teen, he dismounted the dirt bike and fled into a wooded area nearby, police said, prompting a short foot chase that led to the apprehension of the minor without further incident.
