Four Killed In Wrong-Way I-84 Crash, Police Say Four people were killed in a wrong-way crash on I-84 in Connecticut, state police announced. Tolland County resident Kurt Emmanual Bahler, age 36, of Ellington, was driving eastbound on I-84 near exit 51 in Hartford shortly after 2:45 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 26, in the left of four lanes when a wrong-way driver approached him. Police said that Hartford resident Natachia Izekia Rivera-Hall was driving the wrong way on I-84 traveling west in the eastbound lanes when she struck Bahler head-on. Police Search For I-84 Hit-Run Driver Connecticut State police are asking the public for help locating the driver of a light-colored SUV involved in a hit-and-run crash on I-84 in Fairfield County.  The incident took place around 1:40 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 30, near Exit 5 in Danbury when the SUV merged into the right lane and hit the front driver’s side of a 2010 Honda Civic, state police said. The crash caused the Honda to swerve right and strike a metal beam guide rail before veering left and colliding into a center median concrete barrier, state police said. Here's Latest On Storm System That Will Bring Wintry Mix, Rain To Region Get set for another stormy weekend. A potent system sweeping through the Northeast will bring a wintry mix at times to parts of the region and rain and strong winds to the entire area.  Friday, Jan. 24 will be mostly sunny with a high temperature in the mid 40s. Overnight, the low temperature will fall to around 30 degrees north of I-287 in New York and the Merritt Parkway in Connecticut.
