Missing Goats Found On Route 59 In Rockland
Missing a pair of goats? Yep, goats. The Hudson Valley Humane Society said it retrieved two goats that were out on Halloween, wandering during the day on Route 52 near the Orange and Rockland County Utility building in Spring Valley on Saturday, Oct. 31. Both had collars, but no identification. Anyone with information or the goat's owners are asked to contact the Humane Society via text at 917-701-3870 if you know where they live, thank you. For now, the Humane Society said the goats are safe at their headquarters at 200 Quaker Road in Pomona.

Good News, Owners Of Wandering Pig Found
The case of the missing owner of a wandering pig has been solved. The owners of a pig found wandering the streets in Nanuet have been found, according to the Clarkstown Police. The owners were visiting from out of town and the pig had gotten loose, said Clarkstown Officer Norman Peters. The pig was found around 1:50 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 23, after receiving a call from a resident about a loose pig in their yard, said Peters. Man Wanted In Connection To Dog Cruelty Case Involving 21 Huskies Arrested In North Rockland
A man wanted in connection to a dog cruelty case involving 21 Huskies has been arrested in North Rockland. Jerome Louis Adler, 76, formerly of Stony Point, was arrested around noon Thursday for failing to appear on the charges of torturing or injuring animals and failing to provide sustenance after he was stopped on Route 210 in Stony Point as a passenger in a vehicle, said Stony Point Police Lt. A 63-year-old woman was arrested and charged with animal cruelty following the discovery of inhumane conditions of 14 cats in her care. Magdeline Gruner of Nanuet was arrested Thursday after turning herself into the Rockland County Sheriff's Office in New City after law enforcement officers uncovered the cruelty taking place at her home, said Rockland County Sheriff's Det. A horrific discovery of 25 decapitated animals probably used in a ritual sacrifice has spurred the Hudson Valley Humane Society to offer a $5,000 reward for information.
