Newburgh residents Shatoya L. Smith, 26, and Carlan S. Newby, 23, both remain fugitives wanted in connected with thefts from the Bottle King on Prospect Street. The Orange County-based crew has hit businesses in Glen Rock and elsewhere in the region, Police Chief Dean Ackermann said. Police Asking For Help Identifying Wanted Newburgh Man Police are asking the public for help locating a suspect from the Hudson Valley wanted in connection with two large shoplifting incidents at a liquor store. Police they are investigating the incidents that occurred on Saturday, July 10, and Thursday, July 15, at the Bottle King liquor store in Glen Rock, New Jersey.  The suspect, who is from Orange County and the City of Newburgh, is described as a Black male, fled the area in a 2019 gray Nissan Sentra. Orange County Driver Nabbed With 100 Bags Of Heroin, More, Police Say An Orange County man driving with his license suspended had 100 bags of heroin, along with some cocaine and marijuana, in his car when it was stopped just off Route 208 in New Jersey, authorities there said. Officer T.J. Graziani found Paul M. Sosler, 37, of Florida, carrying the drugs after a routine traffic stop, Glen Rock (NJ) Police Chief Dean Ackermann said. Driver Hospitalized After Tree Falls On Mercedes In Bergen A falling tree limb cracked the windshield on a Mercedes Benz that had just exited Route 208 northbound in Glen Rock Sunday afternoon, sending the driver to the hospital with non life-threatening head injuries. The SUV's adult male driver was transported by Glen Rock EMS to Hackensack University Medical Center from De Boer Drive.
