Nearly Two Dozen Charged With Impaired Driving During Dutchess Detail Authorities in Dutchess County have just announced the results of a special multi-agency holiday DWI detail in Dutchess County. Between Friday, July 2, and Monday, July 5, law enforcement agencies in Dutchess conducted impaired driving details that included saturation of patrols throughout the county in addition to their regular patrols, the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office announced on Wednesday, July 14. Driver For Taconic Biosciences Killed In Crash At Loading Dock A driver for Taconic Biosciences was killed by an errant tractor-trailer at the company's loading dock, according to New York State Police.  When police were dispatched in Columbia County to Taconic Biosciences in Germantown at approximately 12:45 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 2, fire crews were already attempting to assist the victim at the scene.  Matthew T. Duo Caught In Connection With Area Home Burglaries The investigation into a string of home burglaries over the course of nearly a week has led to the arrest of two men in Dutchess County. The Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrests of Milan resident Kyle Coon and Germantown resident Jon Holt this week, who are facing charges in relation to a string of burglaries in the area between Sept. 22 and Sept. 27 last month. The arrests came on Sept. 4 following the police investigation. Coon, who was already in the Dutchess County Jail for a probation violation, was charged with three counts of criminal possession of stolen property. …
