Dr. John Alexander, Chiropractor In Hudson Valley, Dies Suddenly At 58
Dr. John A. Alexander, a chiropractor in the Hudson Valley, died suddenly on Sunday, Oct. 25 at the age of 58.
Alexander, a resident of Mahopac, was born on Feb. 6, 1962, in New York City, the son of John and Braulia (Alvino) Alexander.
John attended Life Chiropractic College in Marietta, Georgia where earned his doctorate in chiropractic medicine.
On April 4, 1992, he married Phyllis Spaccarelli at St. John The Evangelist Church in Mahopac.
"John loved being a chiropractor and loved his patients," his obituary said. "Many became his best friends."

Pedro Luis Pacheco, a longtime Beacon resident, died after a long illness on his birthday on Monday, July 1 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. He was 40 years old.
He was born on July 1, 1979 in San Juan, Puerto Rico, the son of Evelyn Cruz of Beacon and the late Ramon Luis Pacheco.
Pedro graduated from high school and received an associate’s degree. He was a caseworker for Mental Health of America in Beacon before his illness. Instead of wedding bells and cheers of joy, friends and family members of Carmel Police Officer Gary Pietropaolo Jr.'s, will be mourning the loss of the young officer who died in a crash eight days before his wedding.
Pietropaolo, 29, who lived in Fishkill, died Thursday after his motorcycle was struck by a mail truck on Route 301 in Carmel while he was off duty, according to Kent Police Chief Alexander DiVernieri Jr.
