Investigation Underway After Shots Fired At Large Party In Goshen New York State Police are seeking the public's help to find an individual who discharged a firearm at a large party in the area. Police in Orange County said that Town of Goshen and Town of Wallkill officers responded to reported shots fired at 12:30 a.m. at a party on Celery Avenue in Goshen on Monday, Sept. 20. Hudson Valley Man Shoots, Kills Neighbor’s Dog, Police Say A 58-year-old man shot and killed his neighbor’s dog in the Hudson Valley, an investigation by State Police from the Poughkeepsie barracks revealed. State Police responded to Meddaugh Road in the town of LaGrange for a report of a dog shot on Jan. 28. An investigation determined Scott Messick of Pleasant Valley discharged a shotgun within 500 feet of nearby residences without permission and killed the dog. Messick was charged with aggravated cruelty to animals, a Class A misdemeanor, and illegal discharge of a firearm, an unclassified misdemeanor, on Friday, Feb. 9. Police have not release…
