The call for the fire at the former Cozzy's Place restaurant at 256 Hooker Ave., came in about 2:20 a.m., Tuesday, July 2 said City of Poughkeepsie Fire Chief Mark Johnson. House Fire Breaks Out In Rockland An abandoned home with no utilities suffered major damage during a fire early Friday. The fire was noticed by a Spring Valley police officer around 2:30 am. Friday at 35 S. Madison Ave., said Gordon Wren, the Rockland County fire coordinator.
