PIP Stretch Reopens After Car Fire Causes Closure This story has been updated. A stretch of the Palisades Interstate Parkway in Stony Point has reopened after a car fire caused its closure on Monday evening. Both northbound lanes were shut down between Exit 15 (Gate Hill Road) and Exit 16 (Lake Welch Drive) for about an hour before reopening before 7 p.m. Check back to Daily Voice for updates.
