Man Violates Protection Order, Threatens To Kill Victim, Police Say A 28-year-old man who allegedly violated an order of protection was arrested after attacking and threatened to kill another person who came to the aid of the victim. Ulster County resident Edward J. Steffens, of Milton, was arrested by New York State Police from the Poughkeepsie barracks on Monday, April 27, after responding to a domestic violence report in LaGrange, said Trooper AJ Hicks.
