New York State Police troopers on patrol on the Taconic State Parkway in Dutchess County busted two with nearly 150 grams of crack cocaine, authorities announced.
Troopers conducted a traffic stop on a 2021 Chevrolet Malibu at approximately 4:50 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 26 for a vehicle and traffic violation on the parkway in Pleasant Valley, investigators announced on Monday, Jan. 31.

Two Orange County men were busted for alleged possession of drugs following a traffic stop.
Joshua C. Gilmore, 39, Middletown, and Nichole Ellis, 35, of the town of Wallkill, were arrested on Thursday, March 12, following a stop on Route 17 in Monroe, said Trooper Steven Nevel, of the New York State Police.
According to Nevel, state police stopped a 2008 Toyota Prius for a vehicle and traffic law violation and while interviewing the driver, later identified as Gilmore, he found that Gilmore did not have a driver's license.

A traffic stop led to a host of drug charges for three people in the Hudson Valley, police said.
New York State Police troopers from Middletown on patrol on Route 17 in Bloomingburg stopped a 2010 Dodge Avenger when the driver committed a vehicle and traffic law violation.
During the subsequent stop, troopers said that the driver, Krystal Myers, of Watkins Glen, passengers Joseph Hunsinger, of Watkins Glen, and Antonio Lopez, of the Bronx, gave them a reason to further search them and the vehicle.

Four Accused Dealers Caught With Heroin, Crack In I-87 Stop
Two men and two women accused of drug dealing were allegedly found with crack, heroin, ketamine, and marijuana during a traffic stop in Westchester, state police said.
The stop occurred on I-87 just after 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 5 in Ardsley. After the stop, troopers determined the driver, 25-year-old Joshua D. Allen of Augusta, Maine, gave them probable cause to search the vehicle and its occupants.
During the search, police say they discovered a syringe containing heroin, a glass smoking device with burnt crack residue, about 194 grams of ketamine, and 19.78 grams of marijuana.
