Kayaker Rescued By Hudson Valley Tour Boat, Firefighters An overturned kayaker was rescued from the waters of the Hudson River by a tour boat and firefighters. The incident occurred in Dutchess County around 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 2, near Dennings Point and Long Dock Park. According to the Beacon Professional Firefighters, IAFF L-Beacon Fire Units, Beacon Volunteer Ambulance, Ambulnz, New Hamburg Fire, and the City of Newburgh firefighters with their boats were dispatched for an overturned kayak with the victim in the water.  Firefighters responded to Dennings Point and Long Dock Park to locate the victim, who was seen in the water.…

DWI: Wallkill Woman Crashes Into Ambulance On I-84 In Montgomery, Police Say A Hudson Valley woman was charged with felony DWI after allegedly crashing into an ambulance while driving drunk. The crash took place in Orange County on Sunday, March 26 around 9:30 p.m., on westbound I-84 in the town of Montgomery. During the two-vehicle crash Ragi Hill, age 26, of the town of Wallkill, was driving a 2014 Acura TL when she hit the ambulance, said Trooper Steven Nevel. Nevel said during an investigation, troopers determined that Hill was impaired by alcohol and was arrested for driving while intoxicated. She was transported to Garnet Medical Center for medical evaluation…
