Firefighters Rescue Sleeping Person From Blaze In Beacon A sleeping person was saved from a fire by City of Beacon firefighters when they found him inside a Main Street apartment on fire. Firefighters responded around 3:30 a.m., Thursday, April 4 to a report of a fire at 308 Main Street in Beacon, the City of Beacon Fire Department said. The first truck pulled on the scene within a minute and a half and found a three-story structure with All You Knead Artisan Bakers bakery on the first floor, two floors of apartments and a rear apartment, they said.
