WASHINGTONVILLE, N.Y. – An Orange County boy is giving everyone in the area a lesson in morality after he found a wallet with nearly $2,000 in it, tracked down the owner, and returned it with every dollar still intact, according to CBS New York.
Frankie Burns found the wallet filled with $1,700 while in the Bronx for a Gaelic football playoff game. Frankie Burns and his father, who is also named Frank, used a dental ID card to find the man who lost the wallet, CBS New York said.
Turns out the man who lost the wallet was carrying the cash to pay his rent when he was attacked. He thanked Frankie by giving him $100, which Frankie says he'll use to score some new cleats, CBS said.
