Newburgh Man Sentenced To 16 Years For Fatal Shooting

NEWBURGH, N.Y. – A Newburgh man will spend the next 16 years in prison for shooting another man in the back and killing him, according to the Times Herald-Record.

Fabian Corley, 25, was sentenced on Thursday after pleading guilty to manslaughter charges in August. Corley admitted to just completing a drug sale back in March when Hubert Hines, 31, began to approach with a BB Gun. Corley then pulled a pistol which he admitted to firing at Hines even though the victim was trying to flee, the Record said. 

Hines died at the scene, the Record said.
