Lisa M. Barros was arrested around 4:40 a.m. Wednesday, after deputies, responded to an address in High Falls for a reported domestic dispute, the Sheriff's Office said.
An investigation revealed Barros and her boyfriend were involved in an argument which became physical with stabbing him with a knife, causing, non-life threatening injuries.
While investigating the stabbing, deputies also found more than eight ounces of marijuana, they added.
Barros was charged with the felony assault, criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of a controlled substance. She is being held at the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $50,000 cash bail or $100,000 secured bond.
