Water Main Break Forces Closure Of Busy Shopping Center In Westchester A busy shopping center in Westchester County was forced to shut down after a water main break disrupted operations. The Village of Port Chester announced on Wednesday, April 16, that the Gateway Shopping Center on Boston Post Road has closed all of its stores due to the break. Crews are currently working to make repairs, officials said at around 2:10 p.m.  The center, which is home to several major retail chains, is expected to reopen on Thursday, “progress permitting,” village officials said.
