Suspect At Large: Shooting Leaves Woman Injured In Mount Vernon, Officials Say Authorities are asking for the public's help in finding the suspect of a shooting that left a woman hospitalized in Westchester, officials said.  The incident happened on Friday, April 21 around 5:30 p.m., when police in Mount Vernon were notified of a shooting at 4 West 3rd St., according to Mount Vernon Director of Communications Timothy Allen.  Once they arrived at the scene, police found 45-year-old Christie Tovia with a gunshot wound to her right hand.
