Lexus Issues Recall To Fix Fuel Leaks Toyota is recalling more than $100,000 luxury Lexus vehicles due to a condition that can cause fuel to leak and lead to an increase in car fires. Toyota Motor North America announced this week that it is conducting a safety recall of select Lexus models that were manufactured between 2006 and 2014. In total, an estimated 115,000 units are being recalled throughout the nation. Crews were dispatched to the intersection of North Central Avenue and Concord Avenue in Hartsdale at approximately 3 p.m. on Thursday, June 14, after receiving reports of an active car fire in the area.
