The chain of events began around 2:10 a.m. Saturday, April 6 in Orange County. Man Drove Through Construction Zone In Westchester At 108 MPH, Police Say A 20-year-old man is facing multiple charges after police say he drove through a construction zone at nearly twice the speed limit. It happened on Sunday, Oct. 13 in Northern Westchester, state police said. Nicholas A. Zervas, of Southeast, was observed traveling at a rate of 108 miles per hour in a marked and active construction zone with a posted speed limit of 55 miles an hour on Interstate 684 in Bedford, police said.
