Issues Force Newly Renovated Sprain Ridge Pool To Close For Entire Summer Despite reopening with “great fanfare and optimism” last year, the recently renovated Sprain Ridge Poll will be closed for the entire summer season after it was deemed not to be structurally sound. Westchester County Executive George Latimer announced on Wednesday that in an attempt to reopen the pool in Yonkers before July 4 last year, contractors rushed work at the pool, which resulted in structural issues.
