Westchester High School To Reopen After Devastating Damage From Hurricane Ida One of Westchester’s largest high schools is set to reopen to students after being forced to close due to damage caused by flooding during Hurricane Ida. On Friday, Oct. 29, the New Rochelle High School welcomed back select students, faculty and staff, with a complete reopening scheduled for Monday, Nov. 1 after weeks of cleanup and restoration efforts.
