Victim Of Double-Fatal Crash ID'd As First Responder In Westchester One of the victims of a wrong-way head-on double fatal crash on the Palisades Parkway was a Northern Westchester County emergency medical technician.  Aristan Garandeau, age 22, of Croton-on-Hudson, died around 2:40 a.m., Sunday, Feb. 6 in Clarkstown, said the New York State Police. Garandeau was traveling in the wrong direction on the parkway when he hit another car head-on driven by Brendan Seabrook, 27, of Pennsylvania, who was also killed, said state police. Three-Alarm Fire Destroys Senior Housing Complex In Westchester A three-alarm fire destroyed a senior housing complex under construction in Northern Westchester. Fire Leaves Several Families Displaced In Westchester Several families were left homeless following a fire at a three-story home in Northern Westchester.The fire started around 6:15 p.m. Sunday at 1049 Main St., in Peekskill, according to the Peekskill Fire Department. Arriving firefighters found heavy fire on the third floor, the fire department said.
