Four people were slapped with criminal charges after entering a Westchester supermarket with a child, filling their carts with merchandise, and leaving without trying to pay, police announced.
The arrests follow an incident on Saturday, Aug. 24 that happened at Wegmans in Harrison at 106 Corporate Park Dr., near the junction of I-684 and I-287, Harrison Police announced on Wednesday, Aug. 28.

Two men face criminal charges after entering a Westchester home without consent while trying to illegally solicit roofing work without a permit, police said.
Patrick Quinn, age 20, and Thomas Stokes, age 26, who both have ties to Ireland, were both arrested on Tuesday, Jan. 23 in connection with an incident that happened in Harrison earlier that same day, according to Harrison Police.

A Hudson Valey man has been arrested on Long Island after he allegedly ran a construction company scam, taking customer’s money and leaving them high and dry, police said.
Westchester County resident Robert Stewart, age 39, of Harrison, was arrested in connection with his alleged schemes, Nassau County Police announced Thursday, Jan. 11.
According to police, Stewart, advertised himself as “Nxt Gen Construction” and took on construction jobs for at least two customers in Great Neck.

Two races for top positions in two Westchester municipalities are now only separated by a handful of votes, including one matchup that was decided by a single vote.
According to unofficial election results released by Westchester County, the supervisor races in both Harrison and North Castle have finished in a near dead heat.

A 27-year-old man has been nabbed for burglarizing two homes in Northern Westchester, police said.
The man, whose name was not released, was charged with burglarizing two homes in Briarcliff Manor on Saturday, Aug. 5, the village's police department announced on Tuesday, Aug. 29.
The suspect, who is from the Bronx, was charged with two counts of second-degree burglary in addition to other charges, police said.
The investigation into the burglaries is still ongoing, and more arrests may be made, authorities added.
