40 Firefighters Battle Blaze That Started In Bedroom Of Westchester Home Dozens of firefighters were called into action on Sunday afternoon to battle a one-alarm blaze that broke out in the bedroom of a two-story Westchester home. Fire crews responded to an Eisenhower Drive home shortly after 3 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 6, when a family reported a fire had broken out in a bedroom on the second floor. Yonkers Deputy Chief of Personnel Daniel Flynn said that approximately 40 firefighters responded to the home and were able to quickly extinguish the fire.
