Metro-North Schedule Changes During Construction Set To Go Into Effect Commuters traveling on Metro-North trains may see some changes as the railroad prepares to start new scheduled work on the New Haven line. Beginning on Sunday, April 14, construction will begin on the tracks in an effort to improve reliability on the rails and improve speed in the future, causing changes to the regular schedule, the MTA announced. The schedule changes are expected to last through at least June 29. According to the MTA, departing schedules on the New Haven line will be altered, and most commuters will take as much as 10 extra minutes on the train during their rides. On…
