21-Year-Old College Student To Run For Assembly Seat In Hudson Valley
A college student who calls the Hudson Valley home has potentially historic ambitions for his post-graduation career. SUNY Albany senior Zak Constantine, a 21-year-old Orange County resident now living in New Windsor, announced that he is planning to run for the 99th New York State Assembly District in his hometown Hudson Valley. A student headed to school in Westchester reported to officials that he observed a man in a car masturbating near the building, the district announced. The Mamaroneck School District issued a notice to the community that a student walking to Hommocks Middle School at approximately 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 24 advising that a student saw a man in a white car masturbating near the intersection of Boston Post Road and Hommocks Road. An investigation has been launched by multiple law enforcement agencies in Westchester as they attempt to locate suspects who have been posting stickers that carry white nationalist and supremacist messages. Suspect In Custody After Woman Found Fatally Stabbed In Westchester, Police Say
A suspect is in custody following a police investigation into the fatal stabbing of a woman in Westchester, police said. The body of a woman in her 60s was found at approximately noon in a residence on Beaumont Circle in Yonkers at approximately noon on Monday, Jan. 13, police said. Students will take center stage on Saturday, when the New Rochelle Task Force on Reducing Violence in the Lives of Children and Youth host their latest meeting. The Bronxville Police Department is increasing their presence and patrols around local schools in the wake of the fatal shooting at a Florida high school earlier this week.
