Teen, Juvenile Girl Caught After Leading Cops On Chase In Stolen Car In Mount Vernon: Police Both a 19-year-old man and a juvenile girl were arrested after allegedly leading authorities on a lengthy chase throughout numerous busy parkways in Westchester in a stolen vehicle, police said.  The incident began on Wednesday, April 19 around 3:30 a.m., when police were alerted of a stolen Honda Civic with Florida plates, according to Westchester County Police Public Information Officer Kieran O'Leary.  Soon, County Police located the vehicle on the Sprain Brook Parkway near the Route 100 exit in Yonkers and tried to pull it over. Three Underground Manhole Explosions Rock Fleetwood Three underground manhole cover explosions rocked an area in Southern Westchester and left several buildings without power. The incident took place in the Fleetwood section of Mount Vernon around 11 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 11, on Gramatan Avenue off East Devonia with vibrations, across the area, said Mount Vernon Fire Deputy Chief Jim Lang. Street, Construction Site, Shut Down Due To Street Collapse In Mount Vernon A busy street and bustling construction site are both temporarily closed in Westchester following a street collapse just outside the walls of the development. Broad Street was shut down between Fleetwood Avenue and Gramatan Avenue in Mount Vernon on Thursday afternoon, May 23 after an ambulate driver drove into it and got stuck. The hole developed just outside the 42 Broad Street development.
