"Begining in real estate challenged me to try something different," said Abruzzo. "It was something new and exciting. Throughout the years, this line of work has given me fulfillment."
Abruzzo was principal and co-owner of real estate firm, Ley Management before the company merged with Bronxville Real Estate in 1994. She has been recognized throughout her career as a top producer, earning awards from REALTOR® associations and her company.
After settling down with her husband and their three children, Abruzzo moved from Yonkers to Bronxville to began her career in real estate. "I moved to Bronxville because of the great schools they offered in town," said Abruzzo. "Once I had some extra time, I thought I would try my hand in real estate."
Abruzzo began her career in 1975 and earned an Emeritus status from the National Association of REALTORS® in 2016, which represents working 40 consecutive years as a REALTOR®.
"I have basically worked in the same office all my life," said Abruzzo. "Even though it has changed ownership a few times, I have always been happy working for Bronxville."
Abruzzo appreciates working in a family oriented business and has called Bronxville her home for many years. "People are coming here for a community," said Abruzzo. "It’s close to the city, we have our own school and police department. It’s a great place to live."
