Bernice Spreckman Wins Race For District 14 County Legislator

MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. -- Bernice Spreckman (R, C, I) has won re-election with 56 percent of the vote for the 2013 County Legislator race in District 14.

The 14th District represents roughly 55,000 in Mount Vernon and Yonkers.

‘‘I would like to thank everyone who’s supported me through thick and thin, especially my campaign manager, David Tubiolo. This campaign was hard fought, and David was leading, coordinating, organizing and executing the appropriate decisions that led to this wonderful and appreciated victory!’’ said Spreckman in a statement.

She believes in providing and protecting essential services, not increasing the tax levy, preserving the fund balance and facilitating economic growth, according to a press release.
