BREWSTER, N.Y. - Robert Ceraso of Brewster, and formerly of Mt. Vernon, died March 12. He was 52.
Ceraso was born in Mt. Vernon on Aug. 23, 1960, to Anthony and Margarite (Luciano) Ceraso.
He worked in the Mt. Vernon Police Department, and later in the Pleasantville Police Department, retiring in 2000. He later worked alongside his brother Anthony at AC Auto Body in New Canaan, Conn.
Robert is survived by his wife, Marie; daughter, Ashley Ceraso; parents Anthony and Margarite; brother, Anthony Ceraso; sister in-law Karen; sisters, Jennifer Ceraso, Rosemarie Ceraso (Paul); stepchildren, Penny, Chris, Jimmy and Nick; son in-law Steve; niece and nephews.
Calling hours are Friday March 15, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Yannantuono Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Victory Church.
