MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. -- Peter L. DeBernardi, a longtime resident of Mount Vernon and World War II veteran died at home on Wednesday, April 13, at the age of 90.
He was born on Sept. 22, 1925, in Bridgeport to Louis and Erminia DeBernardi.
He is survived by his three daughters, Laura Hanna, Lisa and Sandra DeBernardi.
He is also survived by his grandchildren, Christian and Jonathan Hanna, Justin and Julian Gherardi, Lea and Lauren Pizzarello, and three great grandchildren.
His wife, Mary, died in1995, and he is also survived by his brother Anthony DeBernardi and sister Josephine Reda.
