MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. - Giuseppina Guida of Mt. Vernon died Sept. 15. She was 82.
Guida was born Feb. 13, 1931, in Guardia de Lombardi, Italy, to Raffaele and Arcangela Valvano.
Guida is survived by her husband, Gaetano Guida; children, Federico Guida and Ralph (Liz) Guida; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Maria (Patsy) Sala; many nephews, nieces; and friends. She was predeceased by her sister, Angela Iengo; and daughter-in-law, Denise Guida.
Calling hours are Wednesday, Sept. 18 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Yannantuono Burr Davis Sharpe Funeral Home, 584 Gramatan Ave., Mt. Vernon, NY 10552. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 19 at St. Ursula's Church. Entombment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
