MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. Emily M. Ehret of Mount Vernon died Thursday, Oct. 11. She was 79.
She was born Sept. 9, 1933, in New York City to Emil and Emma Heizler. She was married to Charles "Chuck" Ehret, in 1993, who predeceased her.
Ehret is survived by a son, Charles (Susan) Ehret; two daughters, Lisa (Michael) Ciallela and Laura (Rick) Covino; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was also predeceased by a brother, William Heizler.
A funeral service was held Monday at the Wartburg Chapel in Mount Vernon. Yannantuono Funeral Home in Mount Vernon handled arrangements.
