The New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services issued an alert this week to Westchester residents regarding the residency of 61-year-old Eric Price, who has moved to an apartment on 9th Avenue in Mount Vernon.
The Division of Criminal Justice Services has assigned Price as a Level 2 threat, which means he is at "moderate risk of a repeat offense."
According to the Division of Criminal Justice Services, Price had sexual contact and intercourse with his female victim in March 1997. He was convicted of first-degree sexual abuse in April the following year following his arrest by the Westchester County Department of Public Safety. Price was sentenced to a term of between one and five years in state prison. He is now under the jurisdiction of the Mount Vernon City Police Department.
