Service Line Work On Sandford Boulevard In Mount Vernon

MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. - Workers of VSR Water Mains and Sewers said that service-line work began Thursday on Sandford Boulevard and should take five days to complete.

Crews have dug up the lines between S. 3rd and S. 4th avenues. Workers have placed cones on the street to redirect traffic but the two lanes remain open although drivers should proceed with caution.
