Mount Vernon Southside Garbage Pickup Changes Due To Holiday

MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. -- Because the Lincoln's Birthday and Presidents Day holidays will fall on normal garbage pickup days for southside Mount Vernon, the following pickup schedule will be in effect:

  • Southside cardboard pickup will be on Friday.
  • There will be no Southside garbage pickup on Monday.
  • Southside garbage pickup will be on Tuesday.
  • Alternate-side-of-the-street parking is suspended for Monday.
